A dress for my little pumpkin

I went to the craft store last night with my girls. I picked the perfect time, they were having a huge sale on fabric's McCall patterns for $1.99. And I never buy patterns( I'm cheap remember) but how could I pass up a deal like that. So i got 2 dress patterns each of my girls. I made a dress today for ladybug. I found the fabric in the red tagged bins and it was also 50% off that price. I have never used this type before, very stretchy. But it came out ok.

Baby leg warmers

I was given these cute tights by my sister for Ladybug but they were way too big. But they were so cute I wanted to make something out of them so I turned them into baby leg warmers.

I plan on making more, and I will add a tutorial on how I made them.

Dreaming of My Own Craft room....

I can wait till I have a room just for sewing and crafting, right now my craft area is in the dining room. which is not a big deal there is plenty of room but it can get a little messy while I am in the middle of a project. I call the mess creative chaos, it helps with the process of creating something. But I get a little tired of say "excuse the mess I was sewing earlier". I guess ill just have to keep dreaming of my own craft room,until we move anyways(in a year). Thanks for visiting.

Scrap Stash

Well like most sewing enthusiasts I have acquired a little pile of scrap fabrics. Well I was trying to figure out what I can do to use them up, I want something useful. Well online I came across a blog that has a tutorial for making a crayon roll up. I thought that this was great and useful ( for the car or when we go out to eat). I made one for Halie it hold 16 or more crayons and one for my niece Chloe( 3years old) that hold 6 crayons. They are sooo... cute. I put a link under links on the right hand side of this page.
